Data Engineer

Every model we ship depends on data that arrives clean, on time and in the right shape. You’ll design and run the pipelines that move data from cameras, sensors, documents and client databases into training sets and live inference systems. You’ll work closely with our computer vision and LLM engineers, so you’ll see exactly how your pipelines affect model accuracy.

• Build batch and streaming pipelines that ingest images, video metadata, sensor readings and documents from client systems
• Design data models and storage layouts for training data, labels and inference results
• Set up data validation and quality checks so bad data gets caught before it reaches a model
• Version datasets so every trained model can be traced back to the exact data it used
• Work with clients’ IT teams to connect securely to their databases, cloud buckets and on-premise systems

• 2+ years building data pipelines that run in production
• Strong Python and SQL, and comfort writing clean, tested code
• Hands-on experience with one orchestration tool such as Airflow, Prefect or Dagster
• Experience with Spark, Pandas or Polars for processing large datasets
• Working knowledge of AWS or Azure storage and compute services

• Experience with streaming tools such as Kafka or Kinesis
• Familiarity with ML data tooling such as DVC, Delta Lake or feature stores
• Exposure to image or video datasets and annotation formats like COCO or YOLO
• Experience with PostgreSQL tuning or time-series databases
